A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“* Location is convenient, roughly a 30-minute drive to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. If you're worried about distance (we certainly were), I'd say don't worry. * Price - On the higher end, we paid north of $400 per night. * Breakfast options were solid, particularly for vegetarians. There was porridge, cereals, fresh fruits, bread, and bagels. I especially appreciated the porridge and multiple cereal choices. * View - The mountain views promoted in the hotel photos are somewhat deceptive. In reality, the mountains are quite distant and appear quite small. Negatives: * At check-in, we were told about a $20 daily parking fee. While they eventually waived it, surprises like this are unwelcome, especially at this price point. It felt like nickel-and-diming. * The breakfast had good variety but they had stocking issues. They completely ran out of porridge toppings (walnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.) and several cereal options, with no restocking for few days. * As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I requested late checkout but was told it wasn’t possible because the booking was made through a third party site. While this may be policy, the response felt very rigid with little flexibility or courtesy, even on a quiet Thursday. * Some staff members seemed unfriendly. When we asked about the hot water keg in the breakfast area, the employee appeared annoyed and said it would be done in 15 minutes, but that never happened.”
“Extremely satisfied with our stay at this beautiful location located right by a river. The views from the lobby/ breakfast area are incredible with the big pine trees and snow. The hotel itself is gorgeous, well maintained and the room was also amazing. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Love the room set up. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Everyone mentions the $20 daily parking. Not my favorite, but also understand given the fact that the parking lot is clean and well maintained during winter.”
“Beautiful hotel located right on a river. Hotel was newer, clean, bright with many amenities. Probably one of the best places we stayed on our vacation. The staff were friendly and helpful, they offered bar and food service, hot tub was amazingly outdoor on the river view. Complimentary breakfast service was average but appreciated. Would recommend.”
